The Birth of Boo Boo Kitty

Happy Wednesday LaShirley Day, friends!!

Last week was Laverne’s birthday and we celebrated all day with a tasty lunch, amazing pedicures, and the creation of our little mascot(s)…Boo Boo Kitty!

For those that don’t know, Boo Boo Kitty was Shirley’s very special friend on the Laverne and Shirley show. The stuffed animal appears in many episodes and was created in a rehearsal because Cindy Williams(Shirley) forgot her lines! She randomly found the stuffed cat on the set and named it after her mom’s real cat, Boo Boo Kitty! The writers loved it and the rest is history!

We felt it would only be fitting to add our own Boo Boo Kitty to our Laverne and Shirley family! By total chance, we were able to find 2 matching “discounted” cats at Build-a-Bear so we can have a back up, just in case!

What will Boo Boo Kitty do next, you ask? Well, she will appear in every Wednesday LaShirley Day video moving forward!!! Your job is to try to find her somewhere in each video!  Enjoy!!
